Privacy
This site is built to need as little of your data as possible. What follows is everything it collects, and everything it does not.
What the site collects
Almost nothing directly. This is a static site on a free host. The host may record aggregate, anonymized analytics — overall visit counts and similarly broad figures — so the desk can see whether the site is being read at all. That is the only analytics on the site: there is no paid analytics product, no advertising tracker, and no cross-site tracking set by this blog.
The host may also set strictly necessary technical cookies that keep the site itself working. The blog does not set tracking cookies of its own, and it does not sell, rent or share any visitor data with anyone.
What the site does not collect
The site does not ask you to create an account, and reading articles requires no sign-in and no personal information. Nothing on this page or on article pages sends your details anywhere: theContact page has no form, by design.
Newsletter data
The newsletter signup is not active yet. When the owner connects a newsletter provider — the plan is a free-tier provider, with no paid tier on day one — the only data collected will be the email address you choose to give, and it will be used for one purpose only: sending you the newsletter you asked for. It will not be sold, shared with advertisers, or used for anything else.
Every newsletter email will carry an unsubscribe option, and you can ask for your address to be deleted by contacting the desk through theContact page once a real address is live there. Until the provider is connected, no signup form on this site collects or stores anything, and no address given anywhere on the site is kept.
Advertising
There is no live advertising on this site today, and no advertiser receives any reader data from it. If sponsorship is added later, it will be labelled as described on theAdvertise page, and sponsor creative will be hosted on this site rather than loaded from an advertiser's tracker.
Changes to this notice
If what the site collects changes — for example, when the newsletter goes live — this notice will be updated to say so before the change takes effect, not after. The current version of this page is the one that applies.
